July 22, 2026 — Southwestern University 560 was named a finalist for the 2026 ULI Austin Impact Awards in the Next Big Idea category. The award recognizes bold, forward-thinking ideas with the potential to transform communities and shape the future of the built environment.

SU 560 is a university-inspired district designed to bring education, innovation, culture, commerce, and community together. The 560-acre development will extend Southwestern University’s mission beyond the classroom while creating new opportunities for students, businesses, residents, and the greater Georgetown community.
